Our Story
Alkaline Falls is a family owned Alkaline water refill station. We take pride in knowing that we can offer you amazing quality water at an affordable price.
Why?
Like most of us, I wasn’t educated on the negative impact an imbalanced pH(potential hydrogen) level could have on your body. It wasn’t until I began to look for ways to help my father with his diabetes, and high blood pressure, that I stumbled onto a study published in the US National Library of Medicine website stating the benefits of a balanced pH level. I then made it a personal challenge to understand why this would help. I researched Alkaline water and found out about Alkalinity diets. I also learned about Dr. Sebi and saw great documentaries like, "The Game Changer" by Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger and "Down to Earth" with Zac Efron on Netflix. The episode that stood out on "Down to Earth" was the one about France. They spoke about water and the different types there are. I didn't know there were so many. What they all had in common was that they spoke about balancing our pH levels to help our body be stabilized. After all, we are 70% water... make it alkaline water! We strongly believe in the science behind the benefits of having a good stable pH level. The consumption of alkaline water is a great and easy way to help neutralize our daily acidic foods. We encourage you to
bring in your drinking water so that we can test the pH level and quality. We can also assist you with any questions you may have.
What is our process?
Our water goes through a number of filters. First filter is a sediment filter that removes all physical particles from the water that are smaller than 5 microns(such as grit, dirt, sand, grains, sediment, rust, small pieces of organic matter, clay & other small foreign particles). After this, the water goes through a GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) this will remove all particles bigger than 5 microns. Each molecule of carbon has small holes that absorb chlorine and smell among other particles. From this process we have a pump that will send the water to our reversed osmosis water system. Here the water will be stripped off of everything good and bad. The water becomes 99.97% pure. When the water is pure it is very acidic. It has levels of 5.5-6.5, with 7 being a neutral point. From this point we have a pump that will push it to 2 Alkaline Filters. Alkaline Water filters increase the alkalinity by using a selection of natural stones and beneficial minerals like calcium Ca, Potassium K, Sodium Na, and magnesium Mg. This will create a consistent release of alkaline filtered water and a verification of ph & ORP specifications.
Raising its pH, typically somewhere between 8.2 and 9.7.
Improving its oxygen reduction potential (ORP) to between -100mV and -350mV, and excellent anti-oxidant effect such as Vitamin C. This makes the water molecules so much smaller and more easily absorbed by cells.
Alkaline water is essential to our health.
Our body is made up of up to 70% water. Did you know our brain is made up of 75-80% water? As little as a 2% decrease in hydration can cause concentration and memory loss. This being said, our body needs water to function. When we give our bodies water with a ph balance of 8-10.5, 10.5 being the best, our body can absorb the vitamins and minerals needed to function. When we drink purified water, our body is actually being deprived of minerals. The acidity levels in purified water are so high that your body spends too much energy trying to neutralize it. Our body needs to maintain a ph of 6.8 to7.4. Anything we ingest that is below that means our bodies have to work that much harder and/or borrow calcium from our bones to help balance our pH. Over time, your body will start to give you problems.
